Casement

Casement joinery is another traditional solution for the British market. The use of appropriate hardware and wooden frame profiles ensures top quality and functionality for outward-opening windows. There are two variants available: stormproof (with a lipped sash) and flush (with the sash aligned with the outer frame surface).

British systems use glazing units with a Ug value of 1.1 W/m²*K, providing excellent thermal comfort and preventing cold from entering the interior. They also feature a high light transmittance coefficient (Lt = 82%), making interiors brighter and more naturally lit.

Wooden windows unlike any other. Outward-opening with specially designed solutions that make them not only highly functional but also visually striking.

Mullions

Muntins are elements that divide a windowpane into smaller sections. They are narrow strips (made of wood, aluminum, or plastic) that can be placed in different ways:

– On the outside of the glass – as decorative strips applied to the surface of the glass on the inside and/or outside (so-called applied muntins).
– Inside the glazing unit – placed between the panes of glass (so-called internal muntins), which makes cleaning easier.
– Structural – an integral part of the window frame, physically dividing the glass into smaller parts.

Muntins are primarily used for aesthetic reasons – they add a classic, rustic, or elegant look to the windows – but in larger windows, they can also serve a structural purpose.
