Renovation profile, the so-called Belgian type (including replicas of historic windows)

For clients working closely with heritage conservation officers, we have developed a tailored solution in which modern aluminium drip caps are replaced with traditional wooden drainage strips. These constructions blend perfectly with historical architecture. Our skilled team of carpenters can also craft all kinds of decorative wooden elements for the windows, such as ornamental heads, trim, and decorative mullions.

We have frequently collaborated with Heritage Conservation Officers and have crafted window and door joinery for historical architectural gems. We are fully capable of adhering to conservation guidelines and replicating decorative details on joinery elements.

Handle colors

Our windows are equipped with handles from the renowned company Roto. With a focus on safety and user comfort, we have selected Roto Line Secustik handles as the standard for our windows. These handles feature a hidden security mechanism that prevents the hardware from being tampered with from the outside. Additionally, they are equipped with a self-locking mechanism and a security pin.

There is also an option to choose additional security features – with a key or a push-button.

Glazin Units

In our windows, we use glazing units from GLASSOLUTIONS Saint-Gobain – a global leader in glass system production. We offer both single and double-chamber units, allowing us to select the appropriate type of glazing based on the customer’s needs – whether it's enhanced acoustic insulation, safety glass, or energy-efficient options. Our collaboration with GLASSOLUTIONS and our commitment to staying up to date with the latest innovations in glazing technology enable us to meet the expectations of even the most demanding customers.

Mullions

Muntins are elements that divide a windowpane into smaller sections. They are narrow strips (made of wood, aluminum, or plastic) that can be placed in different ways:

– On the outside of the glass – as decorative strips applied to the surface of the glass on the inside and/or outside (so-called applied muntins).
– Inside the glazing unit – placed between the panes of glass (so-called internal muntins), which makes cleaning easier.
– Structural – an integral part of the window frame, physically dividing the glass into smaller parts.

Muntins are primarily used for aesthetic reasons – they add a classic, rustic, or elegant look to the windows – but in larger windows, they can also serve a structural purpose.
